Computer Rentals and More from your TTA

The Tech Travel Agent concept started in 1998 when my company, Rentacomputer.com started installing computer rentals and AV equipment in thousands of cities worldwide.

Here is what a Tech Travel Agent© can do for you:

A Tech Travel Agent© can book any nationwide or worldwide technology rentals the same way your travel agent books your airline, car and hotel reservations.

While Tech Travel Agents can’t reserve a hotel room or car rental, they can schedule technology hardware, software and manpower at any location in the US, Canada and the UK.

Tech Travel Agents© take the worry out of computer rental and audio visual needs anywhere in the United States, Canada, and UK.

This gives you valuable time with your clientele during tradeshows and conventions or staff during demanding training and seminars. Relax, let your Tech Travel Agent© manage your next event.

Get a Fast Quote on Renting Technology at your next Event.

A Tech Travel Agentwill be assigned to your account for personal service on your Computer Rental or AV Rental need.

“You can count on a Tech Travel Agent to help you with your event from start to finish. Complete single point of contact for all your equipment and technical manpower needs.” Ian MacCosley, World Tech Traveler

On July 18, 1825 work began on the Miami Canal in Middletown. The Miami and Erie Canal was a canal that connected the Ohio River in Cincinnati, Ohio with Lake Erie in Toledo, Ohio.

This photo is part of a tribute to in the canal and its influence on the past successes of Middletown, Ohio.

Plasma Video Wall Friends

Jim and Raj Jain are the father and son team from ICC.

ICC is one of Rentacomputer.com’s largest trading partners. In this photo, Jim and Raj are standing in front of a 9 panel video wall that is worth over six figures yet rents for less than five.

Video walls are the ultimate in plasma display technology. Each panel is equal to a 42″ plasma flat screen without the bezel.

The most common configuration is with 4 of these panels, but any number of panels can be used in conjunction with one another. Yes you could do an entire wall with these panels.

A special software program resides on a laptop computer so all images appear as one large image.

Here I am at the October 28, 2007 game, Steelers vs Bengals. My mission was to keep #38, Fullback Carey Davis drinking Gatorade Electrolyte. In the meantime, I did get to see the game from the coaches perspective.

It was great being with the team this year with their new coach, Mike Tomlin. However, Bill Cowher was more intense and in your face. Also, one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, Kenny Anderson was there as Pittsburgh’s new assistant coach.

Thanks to Head Trainer John Norwig for needing and additional trainer on the field in Cincinnati. In the 8 games that I assisted, the Steelers have won every time. But don’t give me all the credit.

What will become of the George M. Verity Statue?

He moved ARMCO to Middletown, Ohio which is now AK Steel (AKS), in 1901. The community of Middletown convinced George to locate his steel mill in Middletown from its current location near the Ohio River in Cincinnati.

His statue has been left behind after the company moved its headquarters from Middletown to West Chester, Ohio.

What will become of George’s statue? Is it appropriate to move it to West Chester? Should it be moved to the city building or other city owned park or location?

I asked Alan McCoy, AK Steel spokesperson that very question. I will publish his answer when I hear back from Alan.
