Will Better Wedges Improve My Golf Score? |

My short game might improve if I upgrade my 56 and 60 degree wedges. But what is best for my game? And, can I get pre-owned?

I did a little research but could not find much info, only some crap about the spin doctor. Looks hokey with replaceable faces. Anyone ever try one the Spin Doctor? http://www.spindoctorgolf.com/inserts.html

Fuzzy carries: Titleist Vokey 52° & 58°
Woods: Nike VR (56 and 60 degrees) – of course!

My standard wedge is part of a set (Ping G5) but my Sand and Lob wedges are some old worn out Ping Eye 2’s and need to be replaced. Thats what brought up the search. I like what Fuzzy carries: Titleist Vokey 52° & 58°

Bounce Degrees

Measurement in degrees of the angle from the front edge of a club’s sole to the point that actually rests on the ground at address. The middle or rear of many soles is lower than the front edge. More bounce will keep the club from digging too deeply into turf or sand.The amount of bounce needed depends on conditions. If you play courses with soft, fluffy sand, you’ll need more bounce. If the courses you play typically have harder sand, you’ll need less bounce. Playing from fairway – less bounce. With my game, I need more bounce, because I am in the rough allot. I am looking at a 52° & 58° with about 10 degrees of bounce.

Hey, for fathers day my boys just bought me the 58 degree and I bought the 52 degree on my own. And yes, I’m playing with them tonight, even though Fathers day isn’t here yet. lol
